I love icy drinks, and there’s nothing better than something fruity and fresh on a hot day! This frozen strawberry daiquiri mocktail is also really healthy to boot – coming in at only 65 kcal and packed full of fruit. Yum! It’s also one of those drinks that looks incredibly beautiful, so a real crowd pleaser if you have people round.
What are the ingredients in this Strawberry Daiquiri Mocktail?
To make this strawberry mocktail you only need 4 ingredients. Strawberries, soda water, lime juice and sugar syrup (which is basically sugar and water). I bet you have most of that in already!
How do you make a frozen daiquiri mocktail?
Making this frozen strawberry daiquiri mocktail couldn’t be easier. Freeze the strawberries and the whiz together with everything else in the blender. I find it easier on the texture if I take the strawberries out of the freezer 10 minutes or so before I’m going to make it.
If you prefer a ‘slacker’ texture then feel free to top with more soda water. You can also add apple juice, which is really delicious too, but I find I prefer it with just soda water personally (which is a little less sweet).
Can you freeze the strawberry daiquiri mix?
This might sound like a pretty redundant question since you are making this with frozen strawberries – but this recipe freezes really well! It’s great news if you make too much or if you want to make some in advance.
When you freeze the mix it will turn into a solid lump. Take it out from the freezer around 20 minutes before you want to drink and then when it’s started to defrost a little pop in the blender and it will transform it back into that pourable slushy texture.

Sweet, refreshing and healthy to boot – this frozen strawberry daiquiri mocktail is the perfect drink to cool down on a hot day.
- 125g frozen strawberries, tops cut off
- 1 tbsp simple syrup (see note 1)
- 100ml soda water
- 1/2 lime, juice only
Place the strawberries in a blender with the syrup, lime juice and soda water. Whizz together until you have a smooth icy paste.
Pour into glasses and garnish with fresh mint and strawberries.
- Simple syrup is simply equal parts water and equal parts sugar heated in a pan until the sugar has dissolved into the water.
- You may find it easier to blend the mix if you leave the strawberries out of the freezer for 10 minutes before blending.
