About me
Hi, I'm Caroline, I'm originally from the UK and currently living the single life in Dubai. I was a chef for a few years in my past life, during my time at Leeds University and following that, when I spent a short time catering and running a ski chalet in Finland. While being a chef was never a long-term career choice for me, it was a way to earn extra money while studying, while also learning a great life skill at the same time.
As the years have passed I've found it harder and harder to find the time, or the drive, to get home from a long day in the office and cook for myself. I'm on a mission now to resolve that - both to rekindle my love of cooking (which I sadly only really do when I've got guests over) and to also make healthier life decisions for myself. I'll be sharing my recipe journey here in the hope to encourage others to whip up some great tasty and healthy meals and get out of the take away cycle!
